The 107 foot gaff schooner Merrie Ellen was built in Vancouver British Columbia in 1922. She has just undergone a complete refit in Port Townsend Wa. that includes replanking from the shearline to three strakes below the waterline and refastening by David Thompsons shipwrights. A new John Deere main engine from Shoreline Marine Diesel and new fuel tanks and plumbing were installed. Interior appointments are being replaced that include a new galley and a five double stateroom layout featuring queen beds and ensuite heads. Six pack charters also starting June 09.
